Cognosis is pleased to retain its position among the Top 40 Consulting Firms in the UK, according to the independent ranking by the online global industry platform Consultancy.uk. Hand-picked from 500+ firms across the UK and global consulting industry, the ranking benchmarks firms across 40 sectors and 40 areas of expertise.

For the second year in a row, we were recognised for our expertise in Strategy, placing our consultancy in the top 10% nationwide. For Innovation, we climbed even higher up the ranking, securing a Gold rating (top 7%) to stand alongside many of the world’s leading names in consultancy.

“Only a select group of consulting firms can claim to be a leader in the market or in their segment.” Consultancy.uk

> TAKE ME TO THE RESULTS:

Managing partner John Hosking commented

“I’m truly delighted that Consultancy.uk has again named Cognosis a Top UK Consulting Firm for Strategy and Innovation. This year, we have gone a step further, earning a Gold rating for Innovation that places us in the top 7% among 500+ firms nationwide.

“The last 12 months have proved challenging for the whole industry – and so to strengthen our performance in accordance with the judging criteria is a tribute to the continued excellence of our people, who are dedicated to helping our clients deliver long-term growth.

"It’s often said that reaching the top is hard, but staying there is even harder. We’re therefore extremely proud to have remained in the Top 40 for the second year running.”, says John.

A year of driving sustainable growth

Achieving distinction in Strategy is particularly satisfying, given strategy development and implementation are core areas of expertise at Cognosis, and critical for helping our clients find success in a highly uncertain world. For over 25 years, we have ignited growth for ambitious companies across more than 65 countries, making a difference both at board level and with strategy, marketing and innovation teams. Our proven ability to turn strategic intent into real action sits at the heart of our collaborative and pragmatic approach to supporting long-term growth.  Whatever the industry, we’re excited to work with people who are passionate about driving meaningful change.

The upgrade to a Gold rating for Innovation reflects our track record of helping clients to develop new growth engines and bring successful business models to market.

“Let’s be honest: innovation is not easy. In fact, it’s inherently risky and expensive,” commented partner Duncan Campbell

“Already 70% of all new business models, product and service innovations are destined to fail – which can deter subsequent efforts by increasing risk aversion. However, forward-looking business leaders recognise they need to keep evolving their offer, or their ability to attract and retain customers will decay. We work closely with our clients to explore, prioritise, design and implement successful new business models, products and services with a robust approach to value proposition development.”

Over the last 12 months, we have shared our expertise in guiding new business models to market highlighting the dangers of innovation inertia and advice on how to mitigate the risk with Navigating Innovative Success: A guide to overcoming the pitfalls of new proposition development. We also ran a well-attended online event with a panel of industry experts who have successfully developed new growth engines for their businesses.
